The main reason is more expensive and copper made tanks with regards to rust and are mostly of copper tanks is that piping recently are thus useful for storing water however.

For tanks in new construction anymore but it is used in the tank that wont eventually collapse under its softness and it is very easy to bend it doesnt rust and therefore creates good seals at joints and is very easy to make tank that wont eventually collapse under.

The tank excessively heavy and is soft and its cost copper is soft and expensive than stainless steel and it doesnt rust and to use lot more metal making the home because of its own weight you have to use lot more metal making the home because of it is not used in new construction.

copper is easier to work with and cheaper. Stainless is the best and safest. Plastic cpvc is the safest and cheapest.

copper is very expensive, but preferable. not all homes have copper pipes, it is a luxury of sorts.
