What tastes good with whiskey?

I’m off to university, and its gonna be a whole lot easier to drink liquor then beer. I used to drink whiskey alot, but usually just mixed it with pepsi. Anyone know some good combo’s? something that may take the taste away.
I used to drink vodka all the time, but it became to hard to drink. Just mixing it with orange juice wasn’t to bad for a while. I moved to whiskey because yeah it taste much better, but still not something I want to be tasting every day.

Honestly, NOTHING.

Most people who drink whiskey are hard core, and just drink it on the rocks.

Gingerale is good. It’s how I first had whiskey.

A friend of mine likes his with rootbeer. But that’s because he can’t get rootbeer in the N.E. corner of England (easily) and when he drinks it that way, no one else will touch it. lol

Errr… I suppose you could try coke.

But personally whiskey, in my opinion, should be sipped straight or on the rocks (assuming it is good whiskey).

Coke, seven up, lemon or lime juice with sugar, beer, grape juice, coffee, sweet vermouth, or more whisky.
