If I am 20, can I buy liquor at a duty free shop and enter into Canada?

I’m a 20 year old living in WA for the summer, but seeing friends in BC on the weekends. I intend to cross the border tomorrow, and am wondering if I can buy liquor at the duty free shop, as it would be far less expensive.
