According to the state statute the only type of alcoholic beverage that can be shipped directly to a consumer is wine and sparkling wines. All others, including beer, whiskey etc. by state law can only be shipped to retail outlet or distributor that has a valid Louisiana liquor license. The second note on that is any entity outside of the state of your residence will probably not send you items considered "hooch" (I take that as being hard liquor?) based on the ban of exporting to a state that does not allow direct distribution to consumers. Section 359 of your particular state alcohol and tobacco statutes will give you the particulars if you choose to peruse them as the link is provided.
