If a drink is marketed as non-alcoholic, why do you still need to be 21?

Sia asked:

The “non-alcoholic” beers you have to be 21 to consume/purchase but why if its labels non-alcoholic? Even if it has a little bit you dont need to be of age to buy rum balls do you?
there are plenty of things that contain a little alcohol that you dont need to be 21 to buy…what about mouthwash……and the law isnt you have to be 21 to buy and consume beer it’s you have to be 21 to buy and consume alcoholic beverages
what i’m trying to say is it shouldnt be classified by marketing as non alcoholic if it’s considered alcoholic by law

it still has a little alcohol, but normally whne you cook with alcohol the actual alcohol is cooked out and you are left with the flavor.

21 is a ridicilous age to have people start drinkin… people always do what is illegal… if it were legal then i think less teen would want it…

An alcohol analog its too much like real alcohol to sell non nicotine cigarettes to people.
An alcohol to people only over 18 for the same reason.
For the same reason.

Your everyday beer is 12% Alcohol by volume
Non-alcoholic beer is usually 3-4%
Those tasty rum balls less than 1%
This is why you have to be 21.
It is not non alcoholic most of them have the same Alcohol content as a wine cooler

It still contains some alcohol. Also, NA beer is still considered beer.
